This Private Tour combines Egypt and Jordan complete with a flight for the short trip from Cairo
to Amman. The group size is just you, minimum 2 persons and departures can take place any day. You will visit some of the worlds most important ancient sights…..the Pyramids of course, Luxor, Aswan and amazing Petra.
Day 2 Start with a visit to the Egyptian Museum in the morning. In the afternoon visit the Citadel of Saladin, the Mosque of Mohammed Ali and Coptic Cairo including the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. If you wish, your escort will drop you off at the Khan Al Khalili bazaar. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Day 3 The entire day will be devoted to antiquities. Memphis, Saqqara, The Pyramids and The Sphinx. You will even ride camels at the Pyramids, if you wish. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Day 4 You will be awakened early for the early morning flight to Aswan where your full day will start with visits to the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk at the granite quarries and Philae Temple. In the afternoon you will sail the Nile by felucca with views of the Nilometer, Elephantine Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Optionally, you can visit Abu Simbel by air in the morning, and then see the Aswan sites in the afternoon. Abu Simbel, the two magnificent temples of Ramses II…is a magnificent site. You fly to Abu Simbel, take the tourist bus at the airport for the 5-minute ride to the monuments, hear the lecture from the Egyptologists stationed at the monuments, return by bus to the airport for your return flight to Aswan. About 4 hours in total. Overnight in Aswan. (B)
Day 5 Today starts with a drive by private car or minibus to Luxor with stops at Edfu and Kom Ombo on the way. The afternoon will be free in Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. (B)
Day 6 Set off early across the Nile to the West Bank and to the Valley of the Kings. The full day tour will include the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, The Ramasseum and an alabaster factory. Overnight in Luxor. (B)
Day 7 A half day visit to Karnak and Luxor Temple then the afternoon at the Luxor Museum. Later you will be taken to the airport for your return flight to Cairo and overnight in Cairo. (B)
Day 8 Today is a totally free Day in Cairo for you to decide with your guide what to do. Your Guide, car and driver will be available to you from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. An optional farewell dinner and show on one of Cairo’s famous floating restaurants can be arranged and is a great way to cap off your visit to Egypt. (B)
Day 9 Transfer to the airport for your departure to Amman (not included). You are met at Queen Alia Airport Amman, and assisted on arrival with customs and with Jordanian Visa processing . Visit Mt. Nebo (as in Moses viewing the Promised Land) and Madaba, a short drive away as you commence your exploration of Jordan, proceeding later to Petra for overnight. (B)
Day 10 You have a full day exploring the ancient Nabataean capital, with entry by the Siq and visits to the Khazneh, Theater, Colonnaded Street, Museum and ad-Deir, Petra’s largest carved façade. Overnight Petra. (B)
Day 11 Second visit to Petra, with visits to the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasa, Great Temple and Royal Tombs. Overnight Petra. (B)
Day 12 Breakfast. Transfer to Queen Alia Airport for departure. (B)
